Sexual Assault

In Texas, 2 in 5 women and 1 in 5 men have been sexually assaulted, yet over 91% of victims do not report to law enforcement. Texas, we have to talk.

We need to talk about why victims don’t feel safe reporting such a heinous crime and how we can support victims to come forward before others are hurt.

When you wear a piece from our collection, you boldly lead that conversation.  Funds from your purchase support our expert training to law enforcement and prosecutors on trauma-informed interview techniques and best practice prosecution strategies.  Y’all, it’s time to #starttheconversation

Some Statistics to #starttheconversation

  • On average, there are 433,648 victims (age 12 or older) of rape and sexual assault each year in the United States.
  • Ages 12-34 are the highest risk years for rape and sexual assault.

  • The majority of Sexual Assaults are never reported to law enforcement.
  • 1 in 3 women are victims of domestic or sexual violence. Take a moment to look around. Can you tell who is a survivor in this room?  Your words matter, you never know who is listening.
  • Injuries aren’t always visible.  Victims’ voices are silenced, and their needs go unmet.  Healing remains out of reach.
